aim rewritten is a modern, faithful recreation of the classic AOL Instant Messenger. rebuilt from the ground up - it captures the nostalgic look and feel of the original buddy lists, away messages, and chat windows, while adding the reliability, security, and speed of a modern-day messaging app.

this app is abandoned. i may bring it back but it will have to be rewritten again.
